Approvals

Manage approval workflows so the right people sign off on requests before they take effect.

Overview

The Approvals page has three tabs:

  • Pending -- items waiting for your review
  • Requests -- all submitted requests and their statuses
  • Workflows -- configure who approves what

Reviewing a Pending Approval

  1. Go to Operations > Approvals.
  2. Open the Pending tab.
  3. Click a request to review the details.
  4. Click Approve to accept or Reject to decline.
  5. Optionally add a comment explaining your decision.

Viewing All Requests

  1. Open the Requests tab to see every approval request.
  2. Filter by status (Pending, Approved, Rejected) or date range.
  3. Click any request to view its full history and comments.

Configuring Approval Workflows

  1. Open the Workflows tab.
  2. Click New Workflow.
  3. Name the workflow and select the trigger (e.g., expense over a threshold, new client onboarding).
  4. Add approval levels to build a multi-level chain -- each level specifies who must approve before it moves to the next.
  5. Click Save.

Workflows ensure that critical actions pass through the right hands in the right order.
